LAWRENCE, KS: 14U teams from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota gathered Friday in Lawrence, Kansas to compete for the Jr. NBA World Championship Central Regional crown. The winning teams will earn the coveted opportunity to represent the region August 7-12 in the at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.
Play featured some of the most impressive teams, talent and individual plays to date in domestic play.
Pool play continues into the early afternoon tomorrow, culminating in the first round of bracket play. Follow along, starting at 8 AM local time, with live stat updates and live video coverage on Eleven and FloHoops.
Players and coaches will also be treated to a Life Skills Session following pool play, where a special guest will lead a discussion on important aspects of the game that can be applied to life off the court.
